In the first message it said:
"All come in one package including shipping to Germany (I live in the Netherlands) for the price of €63,- "Since then, shipping to Germany costs (€13) has not changed, so I was asking 50 euro for the tool + rod, and free book and fiche print excluding shipping
Shipping just for the tool + rod shipping would still be minimum €11,95
Tool new is still 99 euros, this is the original Yamaha one, not a copy.
Does that help? -
Or... any good offer for just the tool + rod?
-
Hello everyone, the tool (+extras) is still for sale, is anyone interested?

Hey Don Pedro and others
I have had 6 different XT350's in total by now, and in the mean time also had an XTZ750, R65GS, R1100GS and now ride an XTZ660 and looking (to trade) for a R1100RS or similar 4 valve beemer
But I feel I will not go back to the XT350 again, at least not to work on anymore (pff I must have worked on at least a dozen of them by now including for others). Riding could always be fun
So with the last XT350 sold a few months ago, I thought it time to sell the last remaining parts that might be of use to anyone in this community particularly where I know they will be put to good use.

Wärs nicht mal wieder zeit, dass die letzten (?) Ankömmlinge hier das Thema weiterpflegen...?
blackboro, carnivore, tassie, baffo...
Mit swisschris, bruno TT und so kann ich ja noch was anfangen...Its a long story, but in short: my name is Sjef > sjaffo > baffo
But according to your name, you can sing really nice, especially at night?

Hallo zusammen,

I've noticed that they made a mistake with the XT350 air filter so I send them one of mine and they made a new version, rest of the story here

If you look at the http://www.twinair.com/2004/PDF/2007_applications.pdf you'll see that a new number is added, 152451

@ bunes, Xt 350 wird schon schwieriger. Mit Sicherheit keine ABE für da. Max. Felgenbreite unbekannt.
Bunes and I already emailed with each other 2 months ago, and all my spare XT350 parts are already gone (sold/given away to the 2 people I sold both my XT350's to) Only the knowledge stayed
One of them did not respoke the rims off-centre (to the right, like I did) to keep the chain from eating the tyre, but he placed a ring between the hub and the rear wheel sprocket holder. -

No mate, I sold my latest XT350 and am only driving a BMW R65G/S now
(see website for pics of the rebuild) Most Xt350 pics of me are on

I ordered an exhaust with 'quiet' core (#6114350 but there is nothing legal bout that (!)) and got the race core instead (#6134350). Mounted it, with 4 discs and started the engine... Before I was out of the street I stopped the bike and -walked- back, way too loud..., so ordered a seperate quiet core only and put it in with 8 discs. Still have the race core lying around...
difference kan not be seen from outside, but it is rather noticeable...

http://westerbaen.tweakdsl.nl/xt350/IDS2r.jpgI have had another one too (older) with different end-cap
http://westerbaen.tweakdsl.nl/sptrpp/index.htmlSometimes ferracci.it has cheap(er) ones (maybe the TTR250 fits with another S-tube? but is possible it has 1.5" inlet instead of 1.75" for 350)
http://www.ferracci.it/download/listini/WRPSUPFBF1106.pdfkess-tech.de is a bit expensive...

I forgot I made more pics when still new

The funny thing is, because you cannot buy these for the XT350 you have to make them yourself, that will save you around $200...
it is here for download:
http://westerbaen.tweakdsl.nl/xt350/powernow/PowernowXt350.rar
story with it: I've put several files in the winrar file, the original file is 'carb.dwg', the rest I converted with several programs. carbcut.dwg is the one I used for the latest version. The holes I made at 66% or 2/3 of total length, 4 or 5mm diameter, as you can see in the bottom pictures on
http://westerbaen.tweakdsl.nl/xt350/powernow/powernow.html
For glue I used Bison combi-metal, the advantage of it is, that with heat u can take it off again (like the tip of a soldering iron) -

Did I already mention that an o-ring from a chain fits?
Good to know, I don't remember where I bought mine, probably a 'normal' specialty shop for bearings, o-rings and tools because Yamaha only sells the whole package
I've send Manniekiel and Bunes the drawings already, for others it is here:

running problem was the o-ring underneath (unter) the needle valve set (schwimmer nadel dusenstock?) (nr 12)
http://www.powersportspro.com/images/newfich…Purpose/1991_(B)/(B_3)_CARBURETOR_(NON_CALIFORNIA_MODEL)_small.gif
therefor it was running too rich especially idle (leerlauf?) So take out nr 11 and take off nr 10, loosen screw nr 28, take out the brass tube and check the o-ring (!) -

To print the .dwg file use a (free/share-ware)program that at least can view and print these files, like freedwg viewer (google, tucows)
Langenscheidt: Wörterbücher, Lehrwerke, Übersetzungssoftware?
I don't know Catia but it seems there is an interface for it (google 'dwg catia') -
Yeah my plan was to make a few dynoruns with and without the powernows, but I never did and sold the bike without them. I had to take them off at the time because I had running troubles and went back to basics only to find out it was the o-ring from the benzin-stop-level, and never put them back in.
